Millennium Hilton Bangkok

The location is excellent. There are boats (e.g., with orange flag, a ticket costs to anywhere 16 Baht) they take you to meany destinations, incl. Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, the Oriental Hotel, etc. Also BTS (after one station you have to transfer to Silom Line). Close to the hotel is the new shopping center IconSiam with a huge food court. In the building there is even a 7-eleven shop, where you can much more easily get a beer than inside. We found that the fish restaurant Yok Yor close to the hotel (to the north) was not worth the effort, it used to be much better. Bored waiters and boring food. The hotel was alltogether ok. In a cross street (to the West) nearly opposite to the hotel you can find "real" Thai food in a small street restaurant on the left side, after a few hundred meter walk. There is also a food cart providing the most delicious SomTam we have ever had and also barbacued chicken, they have also a few tables on the sidewalk, very good and clean!

The hotel is modern, clean, quiet, and as shown in the pictures. The high floor rooms come with fantastic view to the river. The staff is cooperative and welcoming, it is the nature of Thai people, smiling and helping. The breakfast is international and fantastic. The hotel is near to ICONSIAM mall, and near to the companies provided cruise dinner trip, the hotel helps you in making reservation.

We have stated in Bangkok numerous times and think the location of this hotel is perfect. It is close to the huge Iconsiam indoor food market definitely worth a visit. Plus you can take a river cruise from here and lots of places you could easily walk to. The room was modern spacious and very comfortable with a view of the river. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The favourite part was the breakfast it was absolutely amazing such alot of choice and all very fresh and delicious. Pool was also perfect we had one of the beds that was in the pool was lovely so could keep cool.

Location. I specifically booked Hilton because I wanted to be near IconSiam which was perfect. The rooms were nice. I had a great view of the river and Iconsiam which was very pretty at night when all the lights were lit. In general, the rooms are of decent size and beds were comfy. Breakfast was good too. My family and I enjoyed the outdoor dining although it can get very hot. Perhaps putting some mist fans around the area would be nice to cool the place.

Lovely stay at the Hilton. Staff were all so helpful and friendly from the greeting concierge, checkin reception to the restaurant staff, all very lovely and greeting with a smile. A special thank you to May at the tour booking counter, she was lovely and organised a really great tour for us. The buffet breakfast ‘Flow’ is amazing, so much variety of food and very spacious. The rooms are very luxurious. The swimming pool had great view of the city. Thank you to the whole Hilton team :)
